Graduation Day – Kipalapala Senior Seminary, Tabora.

With great Joy and appreciation to God Almighty, and in celebrating the solemnity of St. Charles Lwanga and his companions, the family of Kipalapala Seminary celebrates the auspicious graduation ceremony of the fourth year seminarians. This is the 93rd graduation, as it remains a thing of joy that the Holy Mother Church in Tanzania, through our Seminary were able to accomplish the seminary training of 41 young and abled men for the Lord’s Ministry.

The celebration began with the Holy Mass at 9 a.m. and was officiated by his Lordship Bishop Eusebius Nzingilwa, the bishop of Mpanda Diocese. The bishop’s chair donated by the outgoing seminarians was blessed at the beginning of the Mass.  In his homily, the bishop stressed on the necessity of tracing all one’s challenges and the sure solutions from the Lord’s teaching on the mount (Mt. 5-7). He gave the vivid assurance of the absolute and more perfect replenishment of all the goods we suffer to maintain the vocation as journey towards perfection here on earth. He also affirmed that the Kingdom of God is really worth dying for.

After the Holy Mass, followed group pictures and well prepared entertainment in the seminary hall. The series of entertainments, words of advice and encouragement was also crowned with special gifts offered to the seminary by the outgoing seminarians. Then followed a common meal at the seminary refectory and finally, the festivities were concluded with a prayer and blessing by His Lordship Bishop Eusebius Nzingilwa.
